I'm Patty Carmody Smith, and thanks for visiting my web site! Here you will find inspirational contemporary hooked fiber art, including wall hangings and art rugs. All of the fiber art is original in design and is carefully crafted in hand-dyed wool.

Workshops
I am offering a workshop entitled "Personal Icons Created From a Place of Conscious Awareness." Weekend dates for 2010 are September 18-19 (at Northrup King Building, Studio 404) and October 20-21 (at Minnetonka Center for the Arts); weekday sessions can be arranged as well, please inquire.

Around Town
The "Art of the Doll" special exhibit in the Fine Arts Building at the Minnesota State Fair. I will be there August 27th from 2:00-4:00 pm.

First Thursdays (the first Thursday of every month) at Northrup King Building, Studio 404.

Minnetonka Center for the Arts Faculty Show runs September 9 through October 4, 2010. Opening night is September 23 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

My work is currently showing at Your Art's Desire in Minnetonka.
